Evaluation & Research

Equilibrium was commissioned as independent evaluator for both Dorset and Bournemouth Children’s Funds in 2004.  We now have considerable experience of delivering evaluation of services for children and families.  This has included engaging ‘service-using’ young people and parents in being trained to co-deliver this evaluation in Dorset as a participative project.  We are fully committed to this methodology as a means of aspiring to services being evaluated by ‘service-users’ themselves.

In addition we have undertaken work in training young people as researchers to inform mapping exercises and consultations on youth issues in Dorset.
